Exploring

A lot of times when we come in from being out - if I have lots of stuff in my hands or I need to get Emily's diaper changed - I'll set the diaper bag on the floor outside the kitchen. That's where Emily found it when she was exploring the entryway this afternoon.

The picture that I didn't get, because I wasn't fast enough, was the one just before these two - the one of Emily digging in the diaper bag Mary Poppins style, with just her little butt sticking up in the air!

Dinnertime, Part 2

Emily loves to help with the dishes!

Dinnertime

We're back at our house now and everything is getting back to normal - except that while I was at Nana Jo & Grampa's house I learned to pull up and get myself around on two feet.

I was helping Mama make dinner last night. We've got a great situation worked out: I hold on to the backs of her legs, and she takes little, little steps so that I can walk with her.

After a little while though, Mama decided that since I was such a good helper, I should get to have my dinner. So Grammy gave me some spaghetti, and it was GOOD!

New Year's Eve in Midland

After Great-Grandmother's funeral in Lubbock, Nana Jo, Grampa, and I took Mamaw home to Midland before heading back to NM to wait for Mama and Daddy to come back from California.  Nana Jo bought me some really yummy " Biter Biscuits" to help my teeth feel better (I have 4 now with more on the way).  We also went to eat at the fish & chicken place that everyone loves.  In between meals I played with one of my favorite new toys, Alphabet Pal.  Here are some pictures.

These biscuits not only feel good on my gums, they taste good and are shaped just to fit my little hands.

Lunch was fun 'cause I played with Nana Jo and then she gave me french fries!  Yum-O.

I love my new Alphabet Pal, Edison.  Jackson showed me how to pull him by the string so he would sing the alphabet song, but I really prefer to turn him over and play with his wheels.

Fun at Nana Jo & Grampa's

It snowed at Nana Jo and Grampa's house, so I just had to put my hand in it.  Brrr! I didn't like it at all!  What I did like was being with all the people I love, like Mama, Mamaw, and my cousin Jackson.  Here are a couple of pictures taken on Christmas Day.

Jackson was really patient with me as I patted and prodded him.

This is me with Grampa in the hotel in Lubbock where we went when Great-Grandmother died.  I slept in the same bedroom as Mamaw who was a really great "Nanny" for me all week long.
